Paul Tyson, Associate Director, Engineering and Technology, Boehringer Ingelheim

Paul is a Professional Engineer in the State of California who draws on 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry managing projects, equipment and processes at such companies as Boehringer Ingelheim, Amgen, Novo Nordisk and Aradigm. He recently completed a successful 12,000L bioreactor installation and qualification, as part of a site expansion project, along with the subsequent client Process Performance Qualification. Prior to that, he was integral in the establishment of a Secondary Packaging facility, which included prefilled syringe assembly, autoinjector assembly, blister, carton and serialization machines; and in the design, build, start up and qualification of an Aseptic Filling facility that included VarioSys #1. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley.
